AURA® infusion technology, patented by Bayer MaterialScience LLC, imparts color and additives to polymers after forming.  This unique process infuses color at the molecular level. Color on Demand: Capable of achieving a broad range of PMS colors; band pass filtration for near infra-red (NIR) and ultraviolet (U.V.); fluorescent's and photochromics colors; and creation of color gradient as well as partial and multiple color effects on a broad range of engineering and intermediate polymers. Cost Effective:  fast cycle times while eliminating many of the cost and environmental drawbacks of applied coatings. Cost Effective: fast color change capabilities mean a wide range of color options for the customer while management gets true Lean, build-to-demand technology. Cost Effective: Infusion Technology uses 10% of the color and additive media required by compounding. Environmentally Responsible: Processing solvents are totally reclaimed and reused within the system.
